المنظمة العربية لأنظمة النقل الذكية

Welcome..

ITS-Arab is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting a partnership between transport professionals, decision makers, research/academic institutions and the industry.

Our objective is to facilitate the development and deployment of ITS technologies to enhance the transport environment, safety, security, efficiency and sustainability.

Our aims is to scientifically analyse the growing transport demands and problems, then describe and promote the appropriate solutions and standards suggested by both academic and industry experts.

المنظمة العربية لأنظمة النقل الذكية هي منظمة غير ربحية تهدف إلى المساعدة على  تطوير شبكة النقل في الوطن العربي و حل المشكلات المرتبطة به بواسطة أنظمة النقل الذكية.  كما تهدف إلى وضع الوطن العربي على خريطة الدول المتقدمة في هذا المجال، حيث يساعد ذلك على تحسين الوضع الاقتصادي و الرفاهية الاجتماعية لبلادنا في المستقبل.

 

نحن نطمح إلى تشجيع  الشراكة بين المتخصصين في مجال النقل، و صناع القرار، ومعاهد البحث العلمي و الأكاديمي و الصناعة.

 

إننا نعمل على تسهيل و تطوير و نشر تقنيات أنظمة النقل الذكية لتحسين بيئة النقل، والأمان، و الأمن، و الكفاءة والاستمرارية.  و سوف يتم ذلك من خلال التحليل العلمي لمتطلبات النقل المتزايدة و مشكلاته، ثم وصف و تشجيع  الحلول المناسبة و المعايير المقترحة من قبل الأكاديميين و خبراء الصناعة.

The Saudi ITS Standards Committee in motion - Monday, September 14, 2009
The newly formed Saudi ITS Standards Committee have agreed a comprehensive plan to coordinate efforts between all the ITS Stakeholders within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and help accelerate the development of ITS Standards. The Saudi ITS Standards Committee members include the Ministry of Transport, Riyadh Traffic Police Department, National Information Centre, Directorate General for Traffic, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA), Directorate General of Border Guard, Arriyadh Development Authority and the Presidency for Meteorology and Environment (PME). The committee is focused on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but the work is coordinated with other international committees/working groups to benefit the ITS-Arab region.  
ITS Architecture Working Group (WG) - Monday, September 14, 2009
The last meeting was held at telent offices in the UK where the Chair of the WG Steve George invited Richard Bossom ITS Consultant, Siemens plc to provide the group with a presentation on the FRAME and US National ITS Architecture. Richard Bossom played an important role with helping to conclude the group’s milestone 1 report. The report is currently under review and will be made public within few weeks.
