3rd Generation RoadSide Equipment (3GRSE) development test results was presented at the IQPC International Summit by Steve George, Chair of the ITS Architecture Working Group. The International Summit on Road Planning Design and Construction was held in Dubai on 22-23 February 2010 under the theme of ‘Optimising Road and Highway Projects’.

The 3GRSE test results demonstrated an integrated roadside deployment approach that supports multiple applications including traffic monitoring, management and enforcement at reduced lifecycle costs and environmental/visual impact.

The summit included key speakers from the traffic and transportation public authorities departments in addition to some of the leading international companies.

Steve George concluded the presentation with insight on how the 3GRSE and other leading international research and test results are influencing the development of ITS-Arab ITS Architecture.
